Friday January 22

We began the day with our weekly spelling, science, math test.  The tests were marked, graded and sent home with the students.

After the weekly test the students worked hard to finish their diamante poems. A diamante poem, or diamond poem, is a style of poetry that is made up of seven lines. The text forms the shape of a lozenge or diamond (◊).

After recess the students finished presenting their power point presentations on the "best class pet would be" report.

After lunch we drew, read, until buddies.  In buddies we worked on penguin math puzzles using math manipulatives.   This was followed by an extra recess because the school has read for over 5000 nights.  Well done everyone.  A well deserved extra recess.  Read on.

We ended the day with a class clean followed by P.E.

.... take care everyone and have a great weekend.
