Awards assembly tomorrow
We are honoring 3 students
JH MK TT
We began the day with the students reflecting on their own learning then creating their own report card. The students talked about what they liked at school, what they are good at and things they want to become better at.
After Recess we went to the computer lab and worked on both Word and Power point to make new and finish off old projects in time for report cards that go home this Thursday.
At 1130 the students went to music to polish up their part in the winter concert.
After lunch we had silent reading followed by Social studies where we looked at videos on When the
first peoples followed the mammoth across the land bridge from Asia to North
America they had to use building materials in the environment for making
permanent or temporary shelters. The students did a one page report on the Bone homes made from mammoth bones. (will be on the Friday test)
We ended the day making paper airplanes to fly off the porch. My airplane, made by N, went the farthest.
Great day everyone. See you tomorrow.
In our latest Songoff we have begun the quest to find the greatest Christmas song or Seasonal song of all time. Today the winner of our Halloween Songoff contest K suggested 'Your a mean one, Mr Grinch.' and it was up against 'Rudolph the red nose reindeer' porposed by A
