Art Reach
We had the arts reach people come and teach us about Mandalas. They talked about mandalas from different cultures, including the first nations of the coast which we are studying in Social Studies. As well as the art and painting skills they also included math concepts of symmetry and tessellation which are part of our math curriculum. It was fun to paint on such a large piece of paper, which we usually don't get to do in the classroom. Great Job everyone.
